HSC Esports has kicked off again! This year there will be plenty of opportunities for students to get involved in Esports at all different levels.

We are expanding this year, starting with the new website run by students from Year 9 in conjunction with their IT and STEM subject electives. The website will showcase the journalistic side of the Computer Gaming Industry and will hopefully evolve over time to become the central hub for HSC Esports. There are also plans for a HSC Esports Minecraft program for Years 7 - 8 and a HSC Esports Hackers program for Years 9 - 12, to be held at lunchtime (days yet to be confirmed due to current COVID 19 restrictions), where students can come along and learn/practice coding and building their own games.

This year we have a HSC Minecraft Hunger Games competition on Thursday afternoons in Term 1 organised and run by students from Year 8, and we plan to enter the national META Rocket League and META League of Legends competitions in Term 2! This will be followed by the HSC Rocket League Cup in Term 3 and HSC Spellbreak Smackdown in Term 4. All year groups can participate in the gaming competitions.

For more information with regards to signing up for these events and other exciting yet to be announced competitions and activities, please keep an eye on this website and Compass.
